Premier Placements is seeking entry-level groundkeepers and porters to assist with keeping the outside of apartment communities clean while gaining on-the-job training in the apartment maintenance industry. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

As a Groundskeeper you will preserve and maintain all common areas and grounds of the community to ensure a clean, attractive condition in all weather conditions. This position is mostly outdoors all year round.

Pay: Weekly pay on Fridays

• $16.50 per hour

Location: Various apartment communities around the Metro Atlanta area including Winder, Monroe, Loganville and Athens

Schedule: Monday-Friday between 8am and 6pm

Groundskeeper Qualifications:

1. Ability to multitask effectively.
2. Strong time management skills.
3. Self-motivated with the capacity to efficiently work with minimal supervision.
4. Rational decision-making and the capacity to use sound judgment.
5. Professional attitude and appearance at all times.
6. Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and residents.
7. Comply with product labels, safety guidelines, and procedure manuals. Adhere to safety standards, using personal protective equipment when needed.
8. Reliable transportation is required.

Groundskeeper Responsibilities: Maintain clean grounds by removing litter, including pet waste.

1. Oversee appearance of property buildings, grounds, and common areas including bathrooms and pool areas.
2. Ensure breezeways are free of debris and cobwebs with backpack or handheld blowers and/or by power washing.
3. Keep driveways and walkways clean.
4. Operate trash compactor as needed.
5. Light bulb replacements and painting touch-ups as requested.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Inside and outside work in all types of weather is required.
• Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, kneeling and crouching is required.
• Frequently lift 50+ pounds across variable distances.
