Job Summary:

As a Punch/Make Ready Technician in Peachtree Corners, GA you will ensure units are promptly prepared or restored to market-ready status.

• Weekly Pay on Fridays
• Temp and Temp-to-Perm Opportunities
• First Shift Only

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and basic skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall / sheetrock, and painting repairs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Must bring your own basic maintenance tools to the job site.
• Reliable transportation is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general plumbing and basic electrical work, including fixing/replacing toilets, faucets, light switches, electrical outlets, ceiling fans, and light fixtures in vacant apartment homes to get the unit move-in ready for new residents.
• Repair holes in walls and paint.
• Change locks and make keys as needed.
• Assist in moving appliances to or from apartments.
• Regularly replace A/C filters.
• Knowledge of all utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offs, and sewer clean-outs prior to performing relevant work.
• Adhere to safety standards, using personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Routine maintenance of various fixtures such as shutters, doors, and windows.
• Assist in trash pickup on the property including grounds, building exteriors, common areas, swimming pools, and pet waste stations.
• Proactively assess and report any unsafe conditions to the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Work inside and outside in all types of weather.
• Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Frequently lift 50+ pounds across variable distances.
