Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle service requests for multifamily, single-family, and build-to-rent communities.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair issues involving lighting, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, painting, and sheetrock/drywall.
  • Perform interior renovation and construction rehab work in multifamily homes.
  • Install cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, toilets, blinds, windows, sinks, faucets, water heaters, HVAC units, appliances, ceiling fans, and doors.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and prepare vacant units for new residents.
  • Maintain records of maintenance service requests and repair statuses.
  • Report unsafe conditions, move appliances, and pick up trash in common areas, including property grounds, swimming pools, and public bathrooms.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Troubleshoot and service HVAC equipment according to EPA standards, using the necessary equipment and logs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have 6 months of hands-on experience in renovating, remodeling, and fixing things in homes, buildings, or hotels.
  • Proficient in basic electric, plumbing, light carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and mechanical systems.
  • HVAC heating and air conditioning knowledge (EPA Certification preferred).
  • Must have basic hand tools for maintenance repair work as well as gauges and meters for HVAC tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • HVAC Certified EPA Techs must have a EPA Type I & II OR Universal certification, at least 6 months of hands-on working experience performing HVAC work.

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
  • Tasks often involve standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for long periods.
  • Frequently lift over 50 pounds across varying distances.
