Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician

HVAC-certified apartment maintenance technicians needed for Temporary and Temp-to-Perm jobs throughout Metro Atlanta

$23 per hour, weekdays, 1st shift

• Past work history performing maintenance repairs in the apartment industry or similar industries such as single-family homes, multi-family, hotels, facilities, schools, or churches.
• Certified Maintenance Technicians must be Type I & II or Universal EPA Certified with at least 6 mo of field experience working on HVAC equipment.
• Complete service requests in occupied residential homes. This includes troubleshooting and repairs in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, buildings, and shared amenities including the clubhouse.
• Knowledge and experience working on the plumbing for sinks, toilets, faucets, tubs, and showers. Ability to work with electrical issues to change out light fixtures, thermostats, outlets, etc.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and/or installation of residential-type appliances refrigerators, garbage disposal, dishwasher, oven, icemaker, etc.
• Assist in completing work orders involving punch make-ready, painting, drywall repairs, light carpentry, rekeying/hanging doors, tiling, installation of ceiling fans/light fixtures, maintenance of grounds, etc.
• You must have basic tools including gauges and meters for HVAC work
• Tasks most often involve prolonged standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Frequently lift 50+ pounds across variable distances.
